Libraries
That’s it, that’s our cause of choice: Support public libraries.
Here are some ways you can do that:
Go to your local library! Get a library card. Talk to the librarians. Borrow some books, audiobooks, or movies.
Buy any of the bookshelf designs on our Ko-fi page. 100% of each sale is donated to public libraries.
Donate money or books directly to your local library.
Volunteer.
Attend public board meetings. They might be boring, but it's where you can have a direct voice.

Public libraries are a vital and cost-effective resource that enhances the quality of life, strengthens communities, and promotes education in the U.S., embodying the principles of equal opportunity and access for all.
-
1) Enhancing Community Resources
Libraries offer much more than books. They provide access to technology, free wi-fi, educational programs, job training workshops, and cultural events. Donations help expand these resources, ensuring that everyone in the community can benefit, regardless of their financial situation.
2) Supporting Lifelong Learning
Public libraries are hubs for education and personal growth. They offer programs for children, such as storytime and literacy activities, and workshops for adults on topics like computer skills, resume writing, and financial literacy. Donations help fund these initiatives, fostering learning for all ages.
3) Bridging the Digital Divide
In today’s world, internet access is essential. Many people rely on libaries for free access to computers, printers, and the internet. Donations help maintain and upgrade this technology, ensuring that everyone has the tools they need to succeed in school, find employment, or stay connected.

4) Preserving Cultural Programs
Libraries often host community events, author talks, and art exhibits, enriching the cultural fabric of the area. Your support can help sustain these programs and bring new opportunities for engagement to your community.
5) Empowering Underserved Populations
Libaries serve as safe spaces for those in need, offering resources for job seekers, immigrants, seniors, and individuals experiencing homelessness. Donations directly support these efforts, helping the library continue to uplift the most vulnerable members of society.
