Libraries

That’s it, that’s our cause of choice: Support public libraries.

Here are some ways you can do that:

  1. Go to your local library! Get a library card. Talk to the librarians. Borrow some books, audiobooks, or movies.

  2. Download Libby, Hoopla, and other free library apps.

  3. Buy any of the bookshelf designs on our Ko-fi page. All proceeds are donated to public libraries.

  4. Donate money or books directly to your local library.

  5. Volunteer.

  6. Attend public board meetings. They might be boring, but it's where you can have a direct voice.

  • Libraries are for everyone, and they’re full of resources. Without them, our communities (and the people in them) suffer.

  • Borrow media for free! Books, music, movies, and maybe more.

Libraries host classes, meetings, study groups, clubs, and more, often for free.

Libraries offer free access to the internet, computers, other technology, and more resources.

You don’t have to spend money to hang out at the library. Libraries are just about the only third place we have left in the U.S.
